Growth Factors:

Growth factor is a naturally occurring substance. Growth factor is any protein that stimulates cellular growth, proliferation and cellular differentiation of specific types of cells. Growth factors typically act as signaling molecules between cells, are cytokines and hormones being able to bind to specific receptors on the surface of their target cells. They often promote cell differentiation and maturation, which varies between growth factors. Any natural protein that facilitates cell division and proliferation is produced by normal cells during embryonic development, tissue growth. Growth factors are important for regulating a variety of cellular processes.
Stem Cells include embryonic stem cells, embryonic germ cells and adult stem cells. Stem cell growth factors are for the in vitro culture of stem cells for the study of embryology and disease treatments.

Stem Cell Growth Factors
Stem cells toward specific lineage cell type are governed by a wide range of growth factors. Growth factors can be classified into the Common beta chain, Common gamma chain, and IL-6 cytokine families. EGF, FGF, GDF, IGF, PDGF, and VEGF also affect hematopoietic stem cell differentiation.
